Elden has some good things and characters like Malenia. Best boss ever. But it’s still a dump with no style.
Make a good narrative game, for instance. Why not? But no. Miyazaki still believes that a game shouldn’t have a plot, quests, dialogues. Let’s just reuse the reused! Make another Fortnight Souls.
Someone clearly never paid any attention to the Souls games. How is it you only started playing Dark Souls 3 in February 2024 but completed it this month? Then you get upset when you can't understand the story in the game, yet you went through three different endings in DS3. How did you not get ANYTHING from them?
There is a plot, quests, and dialogues with NPCs. That's the beauty of these games though, as you can go through the entire thing barely talking to anyone and ignoring dialogue, and still complete the game. But because you do that, you have no right to claim there's no plot, quests, or dialogue.
Also, I'm not gonna gloss over this:
Nightreign is not a Fortnite-like game. It is not a BR game. I'm tired of seeing people scream "FORTNITE" when they see a shrinking zone. Games like Bomberman and Toy Pop had this kind of game mechanic long before Fortnite even existed. Toy Pop was released in 1986 and Bomberman was released in 1983.
Brother why are you crying?
The game will be released in a month of what the ♥♥♥♥ are you talking about
That’s what you think about plot and dialogues. First of all, there aren’t any dialogues. There are monologues. Second, it’s not a plot. Let’s say then that Diablo has a plot. Yes, it has. But just for show.
Anyway, Elden is a nice time killer. And I enjoyed it. It could have been a great game. But no. And I’ll probably skip nightreign.
We need heroes who will connect the combat system of Bloodborne/Souls/Elden and narrative and immersiveness of RDR2 and dialogues of the Witcher 3. This game will be the greatest. But it won’t be the FromSoft’s one, as I can see.
My god guys... first people complain because they are making different games than usual, now you also complain about Soulslike?
No offense but at least be consistent with the criticism
