ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN

I fear this will be last affordable game..
Seems like 80+$ games will become the new norm.
Gaming is becoming a luxury..
At least indie devs will be eating better I guess. or people will just stick to free games because all the new titles will just be too overwhelming to buy.

$80 dollars isn’t the normal yet there’s just one game confirmed for now, but with games like GTA 6 on the horizon I’m afraid it may change. This is why I’ve been playing indie games and old games for years now
With how switch 2 is going to be.. they might make 100 dollar look not so bad, they are really trying to push waters with games like zelda botw going up in price and charge extra fees on top to play it on switch 2
On another side pc games were usually always more affordable but I feel like the big corps are going to really start pushing the new agenda to rise the prices, they might not make the same income with that but it might not look so bad with all the investors and ofc we can't forget they have the benefit of a doubt from popularity alone.

Just be a smart shopper, and not a mooing cowsoomer.

RE4 Remake was trash upon release -- I got it recently (with DLC) for a fraction of what it was even a year ago, and it's a blast; not least of which because the modding suite is developed and one can customise and fix the myriad issues that are inherent with the vanilla game.

So, "FOMO" should no longer exists for sentient shoppers, given that the overpriced, buggy, glitched, poorly performing games released nowadays aren't worth playing -- period -- let alone, before all the patches, fixes, and mods have compiled. Just look at Monster Hunter Wilds as irrefutable proof of this rather ironic reality.

Game is not even out yet.
You don't need to be muh "hater" to be smart enough, not to buy something that is not even out yet.

Also there is something called critique, or not liking the direction in which developers are going.
I know, it's hard to comprehend for someone of which POV is: You either fanboy of FS and will cheer no matter what they do, or you are HaTeR.
