Time to get a Nintendo Switch 2

They be dropping a Ip new exclusively on there, might have ties to Bloodborne.

I honestly thought that was the game that they were going to close the Direct with, it's so funny that they closed it with two new Nintendo games that I, as Nintendo fan, didn't care for nearly as much as I did for the new Miyazaki game.

Won't be buying it simply. I mainly play on PC, I love FS and their games, but I won't buy either ps5 or nintendo to play 1 of their games.

I will enjoy Nightreign tho.

Full new IP has a different sort of appeal than Nightreign has, shame it'll be a case of Bloodborne where it will be trapped for a while. Until people reverse engineer and just pirate it on better platforms.

Just hope the Switch 2 is enough to have it look good and run well.

Most fair, it'd be a hard sell for me too if there were no other games i'd enjoy having the Switch around for, but they do have some killer franchises i also enjoy so still something i invest into.

duskbloods looks like The Rocketeer's world more than it looks like Bloodborne's imo.

and when I saw the trailer I thought it was nightreign on switch 2

reality just kicked me in the throat x_x

I could hope for it to be a temporary switch 2 exclusivity
but the giant moon resembling Majora's Mask giant moon doesn't give me a lot of hope =(

I'm not hoping for anything, nintendo will instantly become near obsolete should they stop doing exclusives.

Two things about Nintendo exclusives:
When a game is Switch and PC exclusive, they call the game "console exclusive" to the Switch.
When a game is a temporary exclusive, they make that clear too in the announcement.
So Duskbloods won't be anywhere else any time soon. Maybe the exclusivity deal will end in the next generation.
