Too bad Bloodbourne is in Sony jail and even Sony might not know where the key is.
And trust me, if they would have released this as a bloodborne game people would be pissed. And rightfully so. We want the actual bloodborne game first on PC. Or at least an actual remaster to make it playable on PlayStation.
Them making this a bloodborne game would have meant for it to be a PlayStation exclusive game too. No way.
Sony should no longer have a say about the Bloodborne licence
You guys have zero imagination.
Of course it would be possible the create random Yharnam parts and fill them with life. Same for dungeons, forests, castles.
Get rid of the silly circle and put in a day/night cyclus. Farming at day and hunt the big beast at night.
A billion times more atmospheric and fitting than what we get with.. this..
Just because you think Bloodborne would be a better fit doesn’t mean everyone else does or that FromSoft should cater to your personal vision. This is the same kind of rigid thinking where people assume their preference is some universal truth, similar to how certain DEI folks push their ideals as if everyone must agree, and what we then end up with are games that are for nobody.
Nightreign is built on Elden Ring’s framework because it makes sense within that world’s mechanics, lore, and scale. Assuming that everyone is tired of Elden Ring is just projecting your own fatigue onto the entire player base. The game has a massive following, and plenty of people are excited to see more of that world explored in one way or another.
Besides, saying Bloodborne would be perfect is just wishful thinking. A roguelike structure could work for plenty of FromSoft settings, but randomly generated Yharnam streets and dungeons wouldn’t automatically make for a better experience. You’re presenting your idea as an objective improvement when, in reality, it’s just a personal preference.
But you would be fine with them heavily reusing BB assets?
Make it make sense.
