The network test was console-only. Don't know anyone who got in, but the steam boards aren't going to be the best place to find people who did.

Best I can do for you is to mention fightin cowboy or any influencer you can stomach and garner what you can from their gameplay.

Depends, what made Elden Ring special for you?

I've played the test, can give you some details.

Elden Ring is another genre. Nightreign is a Multiplayer-coop, Hero based, boss-rush game with some roguelike elements - and a shrinking circle like in fortnite.

If you expect a game like Elden Ring - dont buy Nightrein instantly. Watch gameplay videos and streams first, then make a decission.

For me - as a Elden Ring lover - this game is a hard pass.

Thank me later.

If you liked ER PvE part, you'll like this. ER, despite NG+, had terrible replayability. First time you don't mind travel times, but doing NG++ runs or new builds is a drag.

All that's sorted in NR, replayable coop with randomness.

In DS1 or DS2 I did at least 10 character builds on each, manually, because it was fun. Not the case in ER, too many boring wait times.
ER - boring wait times
NR - circle chasing you all the time

What boring wait times? ER gives you freedom to beeline directly to the boss and/or DLC. People have speed ran the game in 20 minutes.

DS1 and DS2 both have sloggy parts that many people don't enjoy replaying. So the criticism you're levying on ER can easily be applied to both of those as well.

You spend a lot of time just running around across the map gathering all your equipment can kind of become tedious if you've done it more than once. The scale of Elden Ring has its upsides but also its downsides.

Again, that criticism also applies to every previous Souls game.

Even if there are many studios that used to be good and are now a disgrace, e.g. Bioware, Blizzard ect. Fromsoftware hasn't even disappointed me yet. Sekiro was also different from Dark Souls and co and it was great!

Elden Ring Nightrein is just Elden Ring with friends! I doubt that we have to worry :).
