No, i think this is something else...
From what we know - the game is primarily designed by the guy responsible for the combat design of From's recent games. I think after getting to experiment with combat systems in Sekiro and then ER where they got to spice up the usual Dark Souls combat formula of repeating same 2 attacks until your run out of stamina - the man appears to confident in his combat loop, and so he wants to try one more experiment:
+ ER combat loop
+ A bit of Sekiro
+ Rogue-like "use what you find" gameplay loop
+ Proper teamwork-based coop
Many people do love the coop element of these games, and many people like the combat loop... Hell, Elden Ring's greatest criticism is that the world is too big and there's too much walking around. This basically just going to condense the usual formula to raw combat: no time for exploration, no time for lore reading, its just go go go keep murdering as fast as you can.
Honestly - sounds fun, and chances that they will mess it up somehow are fairly low IMHO.
Agreed. This will be dead in no time.
There is only so many ways to say, "I played it, loved it. It is going to sell just like ER and SotE did".
No one doubt that i can be funny.
But will it be 40$ funny if there are free mods available which are same as funny and do nearly the same? Aka throw random mobs and stuff at you.
