How is this overpriced??? Let’s look at this. Most games cost $69.99 now a days. FromSoftware easily could charge that and still sell millions, but guess what! They didn’t! Want to know why? It’s because they don’t believe they should charge full price for this. $39.99 is so cheap for a game. Don't complain because this game is literally dirt cheap for a game. Heck, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC was the exact same price and that’s only a DLC!

Depending on region you live in. Europe should be fine according to pre-orders.
Also if you are strong, ppl will invite you in parties. My friend in Naraka is top player and literally can't login in game without party invitations from someone.

Problem is you need to be a part of community hub for this as Nightreign has the same multiplayer system as other souls, password/no-password to be precise and you go with people who set the same password + random if less than 3, unlike Naraka with its built-in social system

In today's economy? I'm on the fence with the 40 dollar price range, alone.

If they charged 30 dollars more you'd see waaaaaay less hype and waaaaaay more anger.

Fence sittas like me would hop off and join the hate-wagon and call this an overpriced asset flip.
