Still.. shadows of the erdtree offered A LOT of stuff for the price. Nightreign offers mostly already know stuff...
Plus: every company in this world would sell you SotE for 60,70 bucks not to mention greedier ones EA, Ubisoft, Rockstar they would ask 80 but somehow one of best developers in the world should give all their games for 20 or free
But i agree that big budget dont guarantee a game to be good. But effort does or have the potential to.
How many effort flowed in this asset recycler?
The reality is, when investments (of any kind) escape the gravitational pull of a few million dollars, a lot of "collateral costs" begin to creep in; which then create plenty of room for money laundering shenanigans -- see analogy: the "known unknowns" of Pentagon budgets, or the absurd budgets of Hollywood C. G. I. schlock. So, the last thing that they would be doing is disclosing every nickel n' dime invested into projects from which a lot of the money could be disappearing into black holes, to then crop up in Malibu waterfront properties; right after making detours through the Caymans and Bermuda (or Ukraine) 😏
