Possible =/= fun
No scaling/balancing for solos in this sounds like a chore to me.
Another hard-pass-factor...
idk gitgud lol
I finished all Formsoft souls-likes solo - im gud enough bru.
Difficulty and an unbalanced unfunny mess are two different things.
Also, and more importantly, when you die you don't just have to run back, you lose levels when you die. The reason for this is because with a party, people can revive you on the the spot without penalty for 30 seconds or so after you die. But as a solo player, you will have nobody to ress you, so you always lose levels when die. Not to mention the whole thing is on a timer, and running back combined with you losing levels will make it almost impossible to finish.
Does this mean it will be impossible to do a run solo? No. The same way it isn't impossible to do a level 1 no hit run on Dark souls. Will it be a fun challenge for an average player? I highly doubt it, it was designed for a party, unlike all other souls games.
