i play tested this game. i can say for sure they did add new things. just because you see enemies that are staples to the series does not mean they did not do anything new

Adding new bosses and characters, for example, is them adding new things though.

And yes - fan made mode is a fitting describtion for this game.

To be honest it should be a free to play addition to the Elden Ring main game - since it uses 95% of it.

99.9% reused assets? What, did you run it through a forensic lab? By that logic, Majora’s Mask was just an Ocarina of Time DLC, Bloodborne was a Dark Souls mod with a trench coat, and Dota was a glorified Warcraft 3 map. If new assets were all that mattered, we'd have to call every sequel ever made ‘lazy.’ Meanwhile, actual game design, mechanics, and structure are sitting in the corner like a neglected stepchild.

throughout all of these complaint posts, no one has actually been able to make a solid argument as to why the asset reuse is a problem. developers have been doing this for decades, and some really good games have come out of it.
+ fromsoft is literally known for being the studio that shamelessly copy/pastes their own material. this has been the case for the entire soulsborne series.

Tell me one game that recycles stuff on this level of shameless. I doubt you will find one.

I mean i get it.. I GET IT.. you and the hollow guy REALLY want to like this game. For whatever reasons.

Its fine. Just go for it. Buy 10 coyps each and every DLC thrown on you. But dont cry if in 5 years every new game is like.. this..
