It pretty much a roguelite with 8 different "heroes" to play with their own unique abilities.
Each run is around 40-45 minutes give or take and at the end of each run you beat a unique boss (new ones made for the game). You explore the map with a specific time-limit until you have to fight bosses, collect random loot of different tiers, level up your character and gain both active and passiv stats/relics.
It's more akin to games such as Risk of Rain 2 actually.
In BR games.. the ring exists to force people into fights to pick up a winner/team at the end.
Not really sure yet if I even buy this game since playing souls games with randoms mostly is just absolute cancer but I think considering the fact what this game wants to be. The ring does make a lof of sense.
People hate fortnite so much that they only need to see a shrinking ring and instantly go nuts.
