Invasions are bad now, but not for the reason you’re describing. They’re bad because invaders can only invade someone who is either on co op, or uses the tounge. So 9 times out of 10 invaders always play at a massive disadvantage due to always going up against at least 2 players. It’s not fun for the invader or the people trying to co op. Back in the day you could be invaded while solo and have legitimate duels with an invader. And people could just opt out of the system by not using humanity.
I haven't played DS1 huh? Since you clearly have, do tell me and the rest of the class how you can do co op with a friend without using humanity.
Spoilers: You can't.
You're ignorant to try and tell people what they have or haven't played when you literally know nothing about them.
Their next souls game will have invasions 🤘
Why are you assuming things about people you don't know? Weirdo.
No. Passwords just help you find specific people. Once you engage in co op, random players can invade you regardless of you having a password.
Like experimenting again with the Halflight/OldMonk idea of bosses being player-controlled mobs
I'm just glad we finally have a game where you get to co op with friends without having to engage with forced PVP.
Already makes this a great game.
In BB, engaging in Co Op would spawn a Bell Ringing NPC. This Bell Ringer summons in other players to invade you. But if you found and kill the Bell Ringer, you could then continue to play with your friend and would not be able to be invaded by anyone.
That's the only time I'm fine with Invasions existing, because you had a way of opting out of it if you didn't want to bother with invasions, yet wanted to do co op.
