But in future, if team is strong, they will grind in 3 different "rich" places for fastest xp/loot and move to boss together later, i think.
The game encourages a reckless playstyle, which can be fun (high risk/high reward) when the rng gods are in your favor.
Character variety was ok. Played 3/4, liked 2 of them but the 3rd guardian/tank character wasn't fun for me. Hopefully there are a bunch more in the end.
Only 1 map in the beta with 2 variations. Got stale and old at the end (9 hrs), but hopefully the final game has way more variation.
There was some jankiness in the controls, especially when sprinting. Many times I had to come to a complete stop (which is dangerous in Nightreign) before I could do a special ove or attack. Traversal speed is fun though.
Difficulty is not bad. Made it to end 4 times and won 3 of those. Could've been a fifth but the team choked an easy win just before the final boss.
Made it to the end with 2 players once so I don't understand why the game doesn't support 2 player coop. That's pretty stupid.
I don't think I'll buy the game ungortunately, definitely not at launch anyway. I would consider buying a discounted edition with all the DLC characters at some point, but no crossplay (PC with PS5) is a dealbreaker for me.
Hope this helps.
