Only thing flopped is this farm attempt.
if you had a thought it would be lonely, OP.....But thats ok. You are not going to buy or even play Nightreign but im giving you a real chance to earn some Steam points! Post Im a little teapot lyrics with a proper Elden Ring context......Give me some good to laugh at you and get PAID for it in points....
Very intelligent consumer behavior 👍🏽
Are you telling me that a company which sells millions of copies of every one of their games, cant hire QA testers....or someone to collect feedback on social media for them ?
Elden Ring: 28.6 million copies sold
Sekiro: over 10 million copies sold
Dark Souls 3: over 12 million copies sold
..........
And if we would have told them:
You can't just sit 1-5 people on a project for 6 months, reuse literally all assets from your previous games, create no new environments, no new enemies and no new bosses and charge $ 40 for it....... and on top of it try to sell the only new content you created for additional $ 15 as day one DLC.
What would they say ?
They probably would say:
"Of course we can, our customers are so brain-dead and cult like they buy and defend literally anything we do." 😅
....and they would be absolutely right with that, like you clearly can see in this forum ;)
And I know for a fact you have already been corrected on those before in other threads so you're definitely spreading misinformation on purpose at this point.
All the "new" assets were chopped directly from a DLC for Elden Ring.
So, some new enemies, some new bosses. But effectively this is a game that flips the vast majority of it's assets from ER and then puts them into a worse gameplay loop with Day one DLC.
And you just don't give a ♥♥♥♥. You're a drone.
That's the problem, people will just eat it up exactly as he said because they don't care about the integrity of the franchise.
Your entire argument is built on assumptions and bad faith.
QA Testing Isn’t a Magic Fix:
Just because FromSoftware sells millions of copies doesn’t mean they can eliminate all bugs. Every major game, no matter how big the team, has post-launch patches. That’s just reality.
Baseless Claims About Development:
You’re acting like Nightreign was made by five people in six months, which is pure speculation. Game development isn’t just about making new assets it’s about balancing mechanics, refining AI, designing encounters, and ensuring everything works together.
Reused Assets = No Effort:
By your logic, Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City, or Monster Hunter expansions would be scams just because they reuse assets. Yet those are some of the most beloved content in their games. The amount of reused assets doesn’t change the fact that effort goes far beyond just making new models. Just because a game has new assets, does that automatically make it better? No, that's where thoughtful design comes in which also requires effort.
Lazy Strawman & Insults:
Instead of making a real argument, you just insult players who disagree with you. If you don’t think the game is worth $40, that’s fine, but calling people “brain-dead” for seeing value in it is just childish.
Nobody is forcing you to buy Nightreign, but pretending that asset reuse means zero effort just shows a lack of understanding about game development.
Also which day one DLC specifically? The only DLC i can see on the storepage is to be released later this year, around Q4 of 2025. So not day one at all.
Yes. I am a drone because I am keeping an open mind, can understand why they made this as a spin-off instead of a new game altogether and because I am actively trying to fight people spreading misinformation. Grow up.
The franchise will be fine. It's a spin-off. Not a main entry. Spin-offs are a thing. Always have been. Always will be.
It was the other way around , I corrected you and then you stopped replying on the other thread:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/2622380/discussions/0/592889408598876845/?ctp=2#c597393922610707587
But you surely can name me now, after you had time to think, a few new assets the game uses.
You told me you played the game, so it should be relatively easy for you to name only a few completely new bosses or enemies,....or just any new assets.
Can you ?
And don't start with Gladius again..... I already told you that he uses the character model and animations of the "red wolf of radagon " bossfight out of Elden Ring, they just added a new moveset on top of it. 😄
There is a reason I stopped replying to you and I will do so here as well.
I just want to make sure people know you are willingly spreading misinformation. Troll along now.
