yes the first signs are alarming but we will see what it is after launch so as always dont preorder if you own a hate coat
Which, btw, was the case with DS 1, 2, 3, Bloodborne and Elden Ring. Just in case people forgot.
It is. Elden Ring was already a warning sign. In alot of ways.
But tbh this is alot worse than I expected.
I think its going to be a blast, I love Elden Ring, I love Rouge-likes, combining them is perfectly cool with me.
Hell even all the CC who got to play it already are saying, its like a very ambitious mod, but its fun. Vatti even said the whole 6 hours he got to play it, it had him locked in.
-Small budget allocated to it like fallout 76
-Smaller B team working on it like 76
-Using the same engine and graphics like 76
-Reusing all assets from it's single player counterpart like 76 did to fallout 4
I can keep going but all the signs are there, and what did we get after? the worst Bethesda single player game to date that was FlopField, a procedural generated mess that nobody asked for, this is not looking good folks.
Keep in mind, 76 was ABYSMAL.
So bad that even most fans of 4 (an already declined game) wouldn't play it.
Honestly this looks like the same path, step by step. How sad to see huh?
I actually played it and its quite a bit of fun, Vs when I played 76 beta and thought this is not great.
On top of that its believed that 76 had like a 100 million dollar budget which is not a "Small Budget" as well as having around 200 people working on it, which is not a small team.
If you want to be a Doomer by all means, I aint here to force you to buy it. But you are not going to convince me nor all the others who enjoyed the Tech test and like the look of the game to not buy it.
If you enjoy it then don't let me or anyone convince you otherwise, by all means go ahead you have 40$ +taxes to spare on a lazy copy/pasted game with a PVE BR mode.
Some of us simply chose not to give our money to these lazy products made by AAA companies, I would rather spend those 40$ on a date with my GF.
