THE ULTRAWIDE THREAD
You asked (or didn't ask) for it!

WILL NIGHTREIGN SUPPORT THE FUTURE?
OR WILL IT REMAIN HOBBLED BY THE PAST?

Ultrawide support at launch?

Elden Ring supports Ultrawide in the code. It just adds borders for some silly reason.

Nightreign really should have this feature enabled.

You're forgetting that it's 2025 and anyone who disagrees with you is a broke boy :quirrel:

+1 for ultrawide

Wasn't PvP balancing their fake reasoning for nerfing ultrawide in previous titles? If there's no PvP in this, I see zero reason to not have ultrawide support

No, because adding black bars again would be based.

Just get used to the black bars.
They should add theming support so you can customize the black bars and change the colors.

devs cannot understand a vertical field of vision let alone any support fro anything other then 240p.. if they do not support just get a refund and say no too toxic development.

PvP balancing is a perfectly valid reason, but it's not just that. Ultrawide would make a lot less of From's suprise attacks or other uses of constricted vision much less effective.

If you knew how many threads have gone up begging for Ultrawide since the forum's inception, you'd know lol

I am still bitter the engine supports ultrawide and they added black bars.

I rarely got to play online due to this.

+1, now they don't have the excuse of it giving an "unfair advantage" in PVP since there isn't any.

that literally still works, most of those "surprise attacks" are through doorways, ultrawide doesn't somehow ignore walls that obscure enemies or anything like that, that isn't a good reason to bar people from using the monitor they have.
