If you call this a legal asset flip then I would like to know what you call ds3 and er. I think from is done creating new games and I can't blame them. This industry is creatively bankrupt so whenever something comes along that is remotely thought provoking it will be showered with accolades.

FromSoft has always "re-used" their models or "skeletons".

But thats why it doesnt take 5 years to make one game.

It took 10 years for AC6 to come out after ACVD btw.

Yeah but they kinda struck gold with souls-series. Without it they would've probably been long gone or at least not been as big as they are now (not because games were bad, they just didnt sell that much). Plus who knows how much the owners "asked nicely" to make more.

I rather wait a decade for a fresh experience than a mixed fruit salad with stale ingredients but this industry is all about that stale stuff no matter how long you wait haha.

Company that made the assets should be allowed to make games using those assets more than once, this aint an "asset flip" you lot saw the phrase once when some developer bought Assets from like UE store made a game out of it and you lot called it an asset flip and now suddenly every single game that reuses inhouse assets that belong to the company is portrait as an asset flip, get over yourselves seriously.
