DS2 situation all over again

History is cyclical. Already given to making a franchise game to other person and it was awful. Now this. Though considering EP served to bring in as many new players as possible I'm not surprised.

I hope everyone who love coop is happy. Because this product will die faster than the single games. No complaints about the Fromsoftware. They are obviosly was forced to do this trash.

And yes gentlemen hardcore fans. As always, when a franchise grows and becomes pop culture, it dies.

This should have been a dlc, I aint paying 60 or god forbid 70 for a monster hunter clone when i can just play monster hunter with more defined mechanics

DS2 has it's own diehard fanbase though. And Miyazaki can't be around forever. He gave this game the greenlight and was involved in the initial planning. Let other people make stuff, it's all good, they're trying things and having fun.

If they never let Miyazaki try anything new there wouldn't have been any souls games.

Yes they added animations as i saw, but it's literally sotfs all over again. Just now in coop on slightly upgraded engine. Lmao.

If they would have made this a DLC, it would have changed the original mechanics/movements/ect. Could you imagine all the screeching if they added a double jump to the original? Or to jump off walls?

It's different, so it had to be it's own game. There will be a Elden Ring 2 down the road, you can sleep in peace tonight. Let them cook, lol. Lots of people want this, and there will be more "original flavor" later.

It's not a dlc. That's the point. It's spin off game. And there can't be a sequel. If you've played the game from start to finish, you'd know that the game has no sequel. This isn't Dark Souls where the world burns and burns.

Buuut, if they added this as a DLC, it would have changed the mechanics, which would have made you even more mad, no? It's gonna be a rouge, how are they supposed to do it without making a separate game? Maybe this happened on the other side of the world? Maybe it is a prequel to events? I don't know, but I have faith that fromsoft will make this a enjoyable experience. Maybe not for everyone, but who can do that nowadays, haha. 8 million people downloaded the mod for better coop experience. There is obviously a market to maybe lean into, and being able to experiment with some new ideas with team tactics.
