From the trailer it looks like they heavily redid movement/mobility + a new pool of bosses (Nameless King ftw).

If anything its probably just a Halo 3: ODST scenario where the DLC's scope got too large to be a DLC

Based on how the Erdtree was dead in the trailer, it could be more like sequel to Elden Ring. Miyazaki just stubborn and does not want to call it Elden Ring 2
