Well, it might be true given that the final of the devs' recordings (I think those were called that way) said that they ran out of funds.

They left it open for a sequel, theres a bit of an end, but the overall objective isn't complete. I'm not sure if a sequel will ever happen though as it appears the developer's focus is now on animation, not games.

It's clear the ending that's there is the results of unfinished/rushed but also could work for a part 2. as Sintac's said theyr'e focused on animation, who knows, maybe one day they may cobble together an animated version of part 2 for VOD.

I think considering the time, it is down. But look at it this way, it works and it's fun. That's better then we get from many others. Blockscape ring any bells?

I have a theory. The game is also on playstation, they would not allow that unless it was a finished game (minus bug fixes of course you know what I mean) that and it does techniquely have an ending. I think what we are looking at is an extremely devious cliffhanger. Not to mention the steam achievements that you can earn at the end, they would have to completely republish the game to fix that if they added more in my opinion. So, yeah. I think we all fell for it like a bouncy zombie boob.
