Split Screen is In

Are the split screen multiplayer modes available on the console version still present in the PC port? If so, are they in the current early access build?

i dont reckon, it would really only work on console cause you could use more than one controller but i could be wrong

EDIT: It's been confirmed that splitscreen is available for co-op.

The store page will have to be adjusted if that is the case, because it is advertising local co-op as a feature.

You can use more than one controller on PC. The official Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless adaptor allows up to 4 controllers on PC.

I really hope this game does include split screen. With the coming of the Steam operating system I think local games are going to see an increase in popularity. Also, like SapientWolf says, the store page advertises Local Co-op.

I hope you guys at least put LAN in. These games are VERY co-op / MP centric and the stand-alone WWI Toy Soldiers was a pale shadow of its former self without all its co-op / multiplayer functionality.

In other words: LAN and / or split-screen = certain buy. Online only / gimped multiplayer = wait and see...

Split screen co-op is in there at the moment. You have to have at least 1 joystick to be able to use it though (as in keyboard/mouse + 1 joystick). Big Picture mode will be there too.

So co-op only? No competitive / vs modes then?
