Toy Soldiers War Chest is a new game with its own factions and a few DLC ones to play around with. I haven't played it myself so I can't say much about it.
War Chest was only the attempt to resurrect the series but Ubisoft didn't pay much attention to it, even with the attempt of including toy legends like He-Man or GI.JOE or even Assassin's Creed, but the result was even worse of the other games of the series; it is a true shame because I very look forward for real improvements for the Toy Soldiers series and possible future games; Toy Soldiers it's not just tower-defense, but action and TPS as well.
When in doubt, pick the better option: TS Complete
I hope the console version of Toy Chest works, since I bought it in a sale a couple of months ago. (I think it includes ALL the game, no inane "microtransations"...I hope.)
I'm liking the refinements I'm seeing to Cold War so far versus the original game, but at least the original game works (not the original game included in Complete). Hopefully I won't run into anything weird in Complete/Cold War than what I'm seeing with letterboxing when I first launch the game...)
