No sound

I wanted to replay this classic on my laptop but I cannot get the sound to work. I've contacted support but have yet to hear from them. Here are my specs, my laptop can run this game without a shadow of a doubt as it was at the time a higher end machine then my regular PC before I upgraded to my Ryzen 5.

The game launches just fine, but there is no sound.
The game settings have sound enabled and are turne dup to 100%
I tested my sound bar while the game is running can I hear the windows "bling" noise when the slider is moved.
This was a first time installation but I checked anyways to see if the sound settings from within Windows itself was muted or turned off.

Any help would be greatly appericated!
