The beast within is probably the least needed remake. GK2 is super replayable in its currrent form... GK1 and 3 look reallly awful.

The Beast within was the most deepest Adventure with a great Story and wonderful places to explore...best of its Series !

Beast Within was the only game in the series I played, I picked it up because I was interested in the werewolf theme of it.

Anyways, my point is that I'd be excited for a remake of the entire trilogy of these games.

Rather remaster and clean up the video quality then put it on steam with achievements and stuff. I have probably played through the game 10-15 times since the release, but would gladly buy and play it again through steam.

Even if they have the rights, I doubt they could improve the video & sound. I've read that old FMV games were usually made with low quality equipment (just good enough for the minimum standards of the day) and that they didn't even keep the master tapes after compression. I would love this game to be remade, but it would be alot of work and I'm sure they wouldn't have the resources for FMV. Using the tech from the GK1 remake could be very satisfying and would allow for gameplay improvements that FMV games typically can't pratically implement.

That's your opinion. The Beast Within is my favorite in the series.

What's so awful at GK? It still looks great to me. It's GK3 that looks awful, being early 3D models. It's still a good game though.

the best adventure game of all time. just release it on steam, no remakes or anything , just make it run on win7 with no problems (and with subtitles please, there is an unofficial patch for subtitles i think that doesn't work that well).

I'll never forget the american actor at the police office trying to perform native german & he obiously didn't knew what he was talking about ^^

I guess the director's order for him was just to sound angry though the words he used weren't.
