Lichdom: Battlemage 1.2 - Hotfix 2014.12.02.70219-Release_v1_2_3 Now Live!
We have just released a hotfix to our latest build for Lichdom: Battlemage 1.2. This 415MB patch includes the following update:
  • All loot machine events can be replayed when fast traveling in NG+
  • Increased loot rarity drops in NG+
    • As players move through NG+ rarity increases on random drops (not pustules, loot machines or chests, for instance) so that Common and Uncommon are removed from the lists and Rare becomes the baseline.
    • Lieutenants, Minibosses, and Bosses have a much better chance for a Legendary drop in NG+
    • Some ‘gift’ drops in Old Drivasser will still be awarded, but those drops exist outside the random loot drop system

Y u no give an option to turn off the ugly, image quality ruining Filmgrain? You devs told a few times you modified the engine.. but why not modify the Filmgrain? it makes the game look really ugly.

This has to do with the way PAK files work. PAK files are sort of like compressed, encrypted files. If we update a file in that PAK you will need to redownload the entire PAK file. You can find more information about PAK files {LINK REMOVED}.

this seems good, will test, and nice that loot machimes can be replayed in NG+

hopefully this will make finding decent replacement spells a lot easier/

I believe Crytek themselves used a separate .pak file for updated data (Such as patch.pak or GameData.002.pak) but I'm sure you have a good reason for doing it this way instead. :)

I'm not sure how Unreal does it since we don't use Unreal, but I would imagine the issue is the same. We did utilize the "patch.pak" method in beta, but I wouldn't be able to tell you why we didn't stick to that method. If I had to take a completely wild guess it is because of the frequency at which we release patches.

Hello team.

I would like submit 2 feature idea.

This is minor basic idea request idea, but for me, this the 2 only point missing to lichdom: battle mage as rpg.

1st: adding a leveling bar as level max caractere 40? 50 ? 60 ? your choice if you considere this request.

1st idea be tuned with the seconde present here:

2nd: add prefab loot spell with level requierement to equipe. i know the base of lichdom is craftable spell feature, but maybe it's can be interesting to devellop the loot feature if some boss or mob can drop some prefab crafted spell more powerfull than a spell crafted by the player.


I don't know if you know what i mean, but for me, lichdom have 2 black point.
-no progression Level caractere. (exept the sigil level)
-prefab loot ready to use and equipe.


If you can do something, would be amazing because the last big update make me returning to the game to test.

I still not have tested the new feature from from the previous with the new game plus, i need finish your game 1st :D But i'm on my way ^^

Ok so maybe i'm geting slow in my oldere age, but would some one tell me where to go to down load the hot fix

Steam will automatically download any updates for the game when they are available. Sometimes you can click the "Play" button and it will start the update. If you hit "Play" and the game starts you most likely have the most recent version.

Hello devs any plans to update this game to 3.6 CE version ? Seems that this game use some older build.

I can't say we have any plans to update which engine version Lichdom runs with.
