How to beat Chapter 2-2 Blitz (Expert)?

I have been trying for at 30 times now. I can't even reach Day 3. Can somebody help with the strategies?

Same for me, I can't beat this level! Don't remember if I reached Day 3, as I haven't tried again for some time. But this one sure is tough.

A possible check list:
1. Get armed gold mine in 2-8 and use it in 2-2.
2. Upgrade heat generator when frozen level rises.
3. If you are in 2-2-a (challenge), replace some armed gold mines with multiples arrows when you've got enough gold. Note that the gold orc supports not only mine towers but also others.

How can you skip the 2-2 to get the armed gold mine from 2-8?

I can't seem to be able to play anything beyond 2-2 until I've beaten it?! Am I missing something?

Omg actually I was struggling on the Normal difficulty of the 2-2 level because I didn't notice that a new element was available : the Glacial Gold Mine!! It's pretty easy with it :p

Now I'll be able to get the Armed Gold Mine soon ;)
