UNPLAYABLE GAME!!!!!!!
Can the devs please address this please!!!!
Game is unplayable in present state!!! Using my mouse on the laptop and unable to even enter the settings properly, when it eventually gets into the control settings it's set to a controller and can't change it to mouse! The pointer is badly off centre and it's pot luck if i can get it to do anything!! Can't even give any feedback from the game UI because the mouse is unable to go to edge of screen. Also unable to even finish off room one because mouse is unresponsive when trying to fix windows and door pressing middle mouse button as indicated does nothing. Would love to be able to get my money back!!!

I addressed this issue in another post on 19th April in another post, but had no response, seems the devs aren't interested and don't bother even looking at any of the discussions!! VERY DISSAPPOINTING!!!!!!

You have had this issue since at least April 19th? You get 14 days from first boot up of the game to get a refund, as long as you have less than 2 hours of gameplay.

The game got released on the 18th... which means you had plenty of time to request a refund if you felt the developers haven't done enough for you. The fact you posted this on the 3rd of may means that you were 1 day late to the request (18th + 14days = 2nd may).

And now you are demanding the developers fix this issue, that seems to be causing a problem just for you or such a small minority of people (others may have found their own solution, I don't know)

Maybe next time don't leave it until the last minute to try to request a refund, sure I know you were hoping to give the developers benefit of the doubt or whatever, but if you are not happy with a purchase you are given more than enough time to request a refund.
I was hoping there would be some fixes, so left playing it for a couple of weeks to see if there was any improvements, but still having issues. And for your information i was really looking forward to playing this game for a while and didn't ask for a refund

Hello, I am very sorry for the problem you are experiencing. We have not encountered such a problem, so we will make an update for this, but can you try these for a solution for now?

1. Type run in search on your computer and run
2. Type %appdata% in Run and enter
3. Press app data from above (sometimes it opens in a folder called roaming when it is first opened)
4. Click on the local folder and find the mymotel folder and delete it, try starting the game

Backup solution: If it does not work, start the game first, perform the above operations while the game is open, press alt-f4 and close it and enter again
