plan your moves and dont be hasty ...
Well, a few tips (depending on how good you are at platformers in general) is take a moment to plan your moves, and save often. For the most part, Ori lets you play at your own pace, with only 4 forced speedruns you have to do (All of which are in the dungeons). Your Soul Link can easily help you try a difficult challange a few times in a row without having to go long distances to redo things if you derp up. After you get a power up, think about places you have already been that you can probably get loot you couldn't reach earlier. Pay very close attention to the world, there are 43 secret passages total, and they all but I think one have at least SOME loot, or a shortcut, in them.

You can't re-enter the first two dungeons of the game, and once you enter the third you can't leave, so make sure you get everything before moving on if you want 100% completion.

Finally, the powerup you get in the first Dungeon, Bash, is a very important one to learn how to use optimally. Most of the later gameplay heavily uses it, and good use of it lets you fly through areas, and it lets you evade a ton of damage as it makes you virtually immune to projectiles and most enemies if used right.
It sounds dumb but I frequently forgot to save. I would make my way through a tough portion for 20 mins and not save and then have to go through and play it all over again. Don't let it happen to you!
