I could then select 1080p and have it work. Not sure if this helps for the UHD4k resolutions but it got me out of a low resolution.
Glad you found a fix :-)
[Edit] Cheers for the edit. Not that it applies to this thread but there's nothing worse (*) than finding a thread from someone with the same problem you have, only to read to the bottom to find the OP saying their question doesn't matter anymore as they've figured out a fix; then silence. I'm sure you know what I mean.
(*) Okay, there are lots of worse things as Jimmy Carr pointed out in one of my favourite jokes that I really shouldn't & won't repeat here.
Updated my original post with the fix! Hope it helps you and anyone who is searching for it!
I know what you mean. There's lots of times I'll go on the internet to search a Windows or game fix and I'll come across a thread on some forum where they had such an issue. The thread will say "solved" in the headline and I'll search through pages and pages (even just a few sometimes), but no one actually provided the solution or fix they came up with to the problem. It can be very frustrating.
