How do I pick up this spirit light container?

I'm inside Mount Horu, in the ball puzzle room. How do I pick up the spirit light at the top ofthe room?

You bash the rock upwards so it blocks the lava then run underneath it.

@Aintevenknow is right. you have to bash the rock straight up. you should have enough time to get by.

Well, I've done that, and the window of time available is less than a half of a second

Perhaps bash it up twice. I don't recall exactly how I got past it but I know this area often requires multiple bashes in succession. I'm pretty sure I bashed my desk a few times too.

Okay, I found out the solution, and it is incredibly stupid. (It may actually be an oversight by the developers, it's THAT dumb.) Just bash straight through it. Seriously, you can just go straight through. *sigh*

I adore this game, but sometimes you have to sit back and say "Why did they think this was a good idea?" I still don't know why this game uses more CPU power than CRYSIS 3.
