If you mean the soul links (that you drop to save your game), they serve as your respawn points. You can only have one up at any time, if you make a second one, the one you dropped before is removed.
That said, especially once you have Bash you can move around very quickly. If you need to gather a few items, take a look at the map first, and plan your route. It's part of the game, and you'll be surprised how fast you were.
As thesidxxx said, you can use a tool to enable debug mode and then just place your character wherever, but you're acting outside the game then. Though I would suggest, with a game that takes a mere 2 hours if you speedrun it (with world record currently being 46 minutes), try to immerse yourself in it and use canon ways to travel. It's quite a short game, all things considered, so wring those few extra minutes out of it if you have the chance. ;)
But no, they are not quick travel locations. They do refill your vitility and energy, and serve as save locations even if you have no energy to save.
