Still stuck at start screen

Still stuck at start screen. With controller, without controller. Reinstalled. Check files. Still nothing. Do the devs look here? I can't find any sort of tech support for this game. If anyone has any idea weather or not this issue will be addressed soon, please post here.

Replace your existing Assembly-CSharp.dll in the ori installation folder.
If this does not fix your issue, simply verify your game through steam, to return the default file back.

CONFIRMED: Game not saving, use at your own risk.

Do you mind being a brave soul and testing out this file?
It is a slightly modified Assembly-CSharp.dll
Basically the core game file.

If you do, please backup or rename your old file, then place this one in...
The game should load to the normal loading screen without Press START. Click on the screen, then press ESC when the settings menu pops up. It should bring you to the Save selection menu.

Please let me know if this hacky workaround works.

Default installion location on C:\

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ori\ori_Data\Managed

Although I have been able to use this file to create and play a game, then load it with an unmodified file, I just want to make sure that people are aware of the risk.

That seems to have fixed the issue. I no longer see "Press Any Key to Start" but the screen does respond and I am able to start the game. Thanks for the help and I'll remove my negitive review and no post one until I've played the game.

You might want to dig around in these forums (if you are the dev) because I've seen this problem pop up for others.

No, I'm not a dev at all, just trying to help people, because this game is in fact amazing. I don't want it to have negative reviews... because i want Microsoft to Make Ori and crew the next sonic and friends haha. Thank you for letting me know.

Well it seems that my games never save. I gotta tell you, this has been pretty disappointing so far. Did they even test this?

Thank god! This work for me but the game was not saved. Now when I wanna play, I have to start at the first level every times. Sad :(

Thanks a Lot DaddyDrew with your metod i was able at least to play the game, i experienced the exact same problem. The only problem is that with your "patch" the game doesn't save anymore so you have to re start alway from the beginning. Again thank you very much for letting me play, i hope they solve the problem ufficially as soon as possible :)
