You can dash through those falling boulders. Also, you're too close to give up! Gogogo!

Uuuugh, this part was so frustrating.

I wish these escape segments had a halfway checkpoint.

This. A thousand times this. Nothing like encountering a new part, being not sure where to go or what to do due to all the flame, then having to repeat the whole thing from the beginning.

I think the problem with this part is that it's just not obvious that you need to use the rocks. When the bash mechanic is introduced it is stated that you can use lanterns, enemies and enemy projectiles as targets. Falling rocks are none of these.

There are also falling rocks like that in Sorrow's Pass, featured heavily near the map stone, so you are introduced to that earlier on as well.

Maybe so, but I'm not sure I'd call a falling rock my friend. Unless we already knew each other I suppose. And that's assuming we even liked one another. I can't see me being friends with a republican rock.

The lasers and giant crushing beams aren't your friends either but you can't bash off those :)

So you're saying you should only try to bash off your friends? I think we're agreed on that. Unless you're a spy or a prostitute, but that's just business.

What about map fragment at the Sorrow Pass? There were owls and falling rocks you can bash through.

Ah yes, you're right. I think I recall that part vaguely.
