Charging flame not working

I can't progress the game because I can't charge flame.
Tried both an Xbox 360 controller and the mouse

That sounds bad :( I have two suggestions that you might like to consider:
- Do you have the energy needed to charge flame? Both charge flame and soul link deplete your energy bar. Get some extra from the small blue crystal plants :)
- Do you hold X or LMB long enough for the charge flame to charge up? It takes about a second before it's charged up enough to detonate when you release.

Hope one of these suggestions help you :)

I would blame it on depleted energy too. I myself had been running around for two minutes panicking the game's bugged before I realized that.
