RT button problem (Xbox One Controller)
The RT button doesn't work. I have to use SHIFT on my keyboard. Any solution to this?

Check on the first page of the forum, there's a thread about it. You might find something there.

Thank you, but unfortunately, it didn't help...
Sorry to hear that, I hope it gets cleared up soon.

I can't find the mentioned topic unfortunately.

I have the same problem as OP. My PS3 gamepad is connected to PC and Windows somehow thinks it's an Xbox 360 one. I don't know why, I was using MotioninJoy and one day I realized I don't need to open it any more, system just uses the driver automatically. But it works in all games without problems, except Ori.

First of all I needed to configure the gamepad once again, because save slot menu was in the constant movement. That helped, but was strange (non other game had problem like that in months). Then I discovered LT and RT are not working at all, probably because they are treated by the driver as analogs, not normal buttons. In FEZ, for example, everything works fine with LT and RT.

It wouldn't be such a problem if the game would have an option menu to bind actions to any buttons (I would use LB and RB instead). I tried to use other control types, but in Keyboard+Mouse I hate the cursor not disappearing during gameplay (it's not needed anyway) and in Keyboard alone placing shoot as X and jump as Space when controlling the character with WASD is really not a good decision. Again, key binding would solve this instantly.

I hope it will be fixed soon, game is amazingly beautiful and as a metroidvania fan I love the gameplay so far (one hour into the game). :)

Ok, I probably should have tested the game again before writing. It looks like RT works now, but when I last played around 15 hours ago it was like described above. I hope at least some of my feedback will be helpful somehow.

Thank for your feedback, but what exactly did you do to make it work?

Hmm... I just checked one thing which may be a reason. Since last time I restarted my PC at least once and in Control Panel / Hardware and Sound / Devices and Printers, when you click RMB on "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows" there's option "Game Controller Settings". Yesterday I had two gamepads in there, today there is only one. I think someone else also mentioned in the other topic, that having two gamepads caused some other bugs for him (like firing projectiles twice with one button). Maybe that's related.
Try switch Steam Big Picture mode and play the game.

Thank you

Same for me. I fix it by binding shift to RT in Xpadder.

Installing the XBOX 360 Controller Accessories fixed it for me.

OS: Windows 7 32 Bit and XBOX 360 Controller wired

I have the same issue, but Im using a logitech dual action. All buttons except RT and LT work, and there is apparently no way to re-bind buttons. Not sure why this is the case, or why the game would have a hard time supporting an incredibly common joystick.

I just made the mistake of going to the microsoft support page and realized that microsoft has successfully made getting support for their products even worse, and I gave up after 10 minutes of trying to find a simple support link for ANY microsoft games. They simply guide you to the "community page" so you can ask people who dont work for microsoft for support that microsoft doesnt have to pay for. Its great.
Same problem here. RT and LT buttons on my Logitech F710 Gamepad doesn't work (works perfect in Mortal Kombat or all other games).
I have the same problem with the Logitech F510
