360 controller Map button

Using a wireless 360 controller, but the Ori menu seems to indicate I'm using an Xbox One controller, which I don't own.

It says to press the little "double square button" to bring up the map, but that doesn't exist. The "back" button my my controller doesn't do anything. All other buttons are fine.

Anyone else have this issue?

It should be the back button on your 360 controller, yea. Are you positive that the button works physically? You can try to test this through a controller tester, like this one:

Edit2: well, that's no use. Just search for "xbox 360 controller tester", I got a working one on the third link (first two were Microsoft guide sites)

I ran into this same thing, but the back button on my controller worked exactly how it said the double square button should. Sounds like a controller issue on your end.

Thanks for the help, looks like I'll have to do without it. My back button works in all games except Ori, and tests ok.

I guess I'll have to use the tab key.

I have the exact same issue as you, your controller works fine. this game is bugged hard and unplayable. I had the slow-motion issue everyone else was having, I think I've fixed that by lowering my monitor refresh rate but now the select key stopped working. the map used to work fine, now it doesnt.
