At 7-10 hours for a typical first playthru, It's short compared to the games I used to. By the end credits, I was giving the game a standing ovation.
But having said that, there are a couple potential deal breakers.
1]Definitive Edition (game plus the upcoming DLC) is supposed to be later this year. Although owners of the original edition will be able to upgrade at a "very comfortable price." This was announced three days after I beat the game. But I didn't feel cheated at all. I was stoked for more Ori.
2]Don't let the cute exterior fool you. There's a few brutal difficulty spikes, the first around 30% completion. I remember those struggles with a mix of frustration and fondness, even if they are easy for me now.
3]Certain areas cannot be revisited and you cannot load your game complete save at all once you reach the end credits to bask in your power or search for collectables you missed.
really when i am waiting for put on sale but nothing
Windows 10 with Xbox1 controller has a workaround but it's a pain in the butt.
If it's JUST the R2 button that doesn't work, you should be able to manage just running keyboard during the R2 required parts until about 45% map completion. Or even controller and just have finger ready to hold shift. Certainly not an ideal solution, but works for the first half of the game since the R2+can't take .5-1second of user looking at keboard to find the button doesn't show until about halfway.
