Biggest FFFUUU- moment
So what's you guys' biggest FFFUUU- moment been while playing? Mine used to be not realizing I didn't get a power cell from the missable misty woods area, but now it has to be by far the game crashing during ending cutscene. It gave me the achi for escaping Kuro, marked the save file as game completed, yet didn't give the completion achi and now I literally can't go back and get it x_x whole thing all over again just for the cutscene.

My biggest moment was through my first playthrough when I didn't realize I could use that super jump thing on a wall. Only figured that out on my second playthrough. So many unecessary deaths :/

Top left room in Mount Horu. Took me several playthroughs to realize how to get through that room right, and even now I find it to be the hardest place in the game for me to get through consistently. That spot was the one true test of my Immortal attempts.

I don't have a screenshot offhand, but the spot I'm talking about is one of the Horu challenge rooms, and involves manipulating two platforms connected to the same lever control in order to block lasers. It's a very small room, and very easy to mess up.

Isn't the top left room of Horu one of the easiest rooms?
All you gotta do after moving the lever on the left side is to go from left to right while the bottom platform goes from right to left and blocks the laser thingy (very easy if you use glide and/or double jump), this way the upper platform (with a lever) goes the same direction as you and you can easily go to the place where you stomp the thing on top left side of the room.

biggest fuu- moment for me was dying in the forlon ruin sequence because of a glitch

I feel you there. ;n; Definitely do not enjoy that room.

I'm not a huge fan of that area in Sorrow Pass with all the spikes. The one you have to constantly press the key to glide in, the long vertical room? Yeah. that's the one.

I realized that on my successful immortal run, but that isn't how I cleared it the previous 10+ runs through the game I had done. My method involved getting to the lever, setting it up so that the platform was on the left next to me, and as soon as I pulled the lever I'd jump on the platform and charge jump up to the top left of the room. It was extremely time sensitive, because the moment the bottom platform stopped blocking the laser, it would be impossible to do it that way. As a result, I had more difficulty with that room than any of the others, with the easiest probably being the "Beamos" room.

This area on the other hand, not a problem. To be honest, Sorrow Pass is probably my favourite area in the game, the only ways I've occasionally died there have been due to the lasers in the main windshaft(not being patient and stomping all the way down...), and the laser and rock puzzle, due to some slightly unfortunate bashes. The windy spike room reminds me a lot of Screech's Sprint from Donkey Kong Country 2, and so I find it really easy personally.

Wait, you do what again in the mt. horu room? I couldn't for the death of me figure out what else you can do cept rush onto the platform and power jump to the upper one while beam is blocked, liked aforementioned.

Once you cleanse the Ginso Tree's heart and the water starts to rise it give you the option to access the ability tree. DO NOT DO THIS. That entire save file is endlessly killing me as the water starts way above me. Just letting you guys know. I racked up 80 deaths in exactly one minute. Sorted it out now but damn that was annoying

I was trying to get the "imortal" achievment, the one where you have to complete the whole game without dieing.
At the "Forlorn Ruins", 73 procent in the game, i accidentally got hit by the one-hit-lasers.
After that, i gave up on the achievment XD, i was to angry and disapointed to try again.
This weekend, i will try again. B)

I didn't realize that the game wouldn't let you go back to a completed save file for if you wanted to keep exploring and find all the collectibles. Now I have to start over and do everything i can before going in each region.

Keep in mind, this is an old thread from before the DE came out. It was only the original game that was like that.
