Losing my mind trying to get the Powerhouse achievement
So I've checked and re-checked every Energy Cell area on the map, including the Mt. Horu one. No more show up on the map.

I know we start with one, and there are 14 additional cells to collect, giving a total of 15. Logically, if I've visited all 14 areas, I should have 15. But somehow, after checking that I've gotten all Energy Cells, my save file still says 14/15.

Where did it all go wrong? Am I going crazy?
Someone please help if you've also run into this problem.
I'm seriously doubting my ability to count.

You start with 0 power cells, but you are getting one really fast even before meeting Sein - game makes you create a Soul Link there. So you need to get all 15 while playing. Lets count.

1. Sunken Glades before Sein.
2. Near Fil (Wall Jump).
3. In Spider Caves.
4. In Gumo's Hideout, after getting Double Jump.
5. In Gumo's Hideout, a puzzle with lasers.
6. Ginso Tree secret.
7. Moon Grotto near stomping blocks and a ram.
8. Sunken Glades underwater before first stonekey door you open.
9. Sunken Glades behind 4-energy door.
10. Walley of the Wind, underwater behind breakable horizontal obstacle.
11. Second part of Thornfelt Swamp accessible after restoring the winds.
12. Sorrow Pass secret near 4-key door and lasers.
13. Hollow Groove at the top above Spiders hanging over water near pillars
14. Hollow Groove above lava field, near beam weapon enemy
15. Mount Horu, upper-right room.

It was from memory but looks correct to me.

TC, if what Stretchyf said doesn't work, check the guides and use the collectibles/secrets map.

I'm assuming you can't move forward with the game without getting that first one. After that, I found 14 more (or supposedly, I did). I'm pretty sure I've checked all these locations, but I'll check again, thanks. :)

Unfortunately, I have been checking all the guides the internet has to offer. They all show the 14 locations that I've visited and re-visited (I even marked them off each time I checked an area). One map actually showed 15, but one of the locations ended up being a Life Cell location. Thanks for the reply though, I'll keep looking. :)

Oh, and I even have the No Stone Unturned Achievement... I've discovered all the secrets and somehow I'm still missing an Energy Cell? Lol doesn't add up to me...

Good luck with finding missing Energy Cell. But maybe you have some bug in your save that no one experienced - who knows. Even if you took an Energy Cell before, you still can say that what you see was an Energy Cell once when you'll visit this place later. So if you count 15 such places without Energy Cells and game still asks you to find one - then nothing you can do aside from checking integrity of game files and start anew.

There is a definition of a secret in game. This darkened area you unaware of until you enter it. Most of Energy Cells are outside these hidden areas.

But congrats with getting No Stone Unturned. It was the last achievement I got in both versions of Ori Blind Forest. It was... hard to get :ori:

I assumed as much. I guess it was wishful thinking that maybe someone out there had a fix for something like this haha. Fortunately, I do like the game enough to replay it another time. Next time, I'll definitely make sure that each and every cell registers.

Thank you! My last secret was discovered on accident while searching for the non-existent Energy Cell lol. But that's incredible that you've gotten all the other achievements. Props, I can't even fathom Immortal.

A couple of other things that I didn't think of yesterday. First, the 2 different versions of the game, original and definitive, each have different locations for a lot of the items because of the new areas and skills in DE. So make sure you're checking the guides (and the message board) for the version you're actually playing. They're kept separately.
Second, if you're playing the original version of the game, I believe there was actually an Energy Cell about 2/3 of the way through Misty Woods. This was changed to an Ability Cell in DE. Obviously, in the original version, you can't go back through Misty Woods to check for it, so make sure to get it on your way through the first time if that's the version you're playing. :sein:

Yes, in Original 2015 version of the game "8. Sunken Glades underwater before first stonekey door you open." is invalid and a Life Cell. But Misty Woods have a secret above large pocket of thorns and spikes and with 2 mortars (enemies spitting ballistic projectiles) nearby and a stone-key in a dead end very close. This secret contains Energy Cell.

So if you were missing it then yes, only starting new game can help. But on the other hand it is a secret... and you have No Stone Unturned, so you have found this secret.
