HELP - Old XBCD for original XBox controller joystick stuck going left when playing Ori and the Blind Forest

Alright so this is a known problem when playing Ori and the Blind Forest on PC with an XBox controller. Ori keeps running left. In a different forum I found that someone went to Device Manager and deactivated "vJoy Device", under Human Interface Devices. Well my problem is I'm using an original XBox controller with the XBCD (XBx controller driver) so I don't see anything called vJoy. The controller works in tests and on other games. It's just this game.

Anyone have any tips besides purchasing a new controller? I know I know time to upgrade with the times, but this works perfectly fine on any other game.
