is this just a plot summary?

Im getting this game soon, and wanted to ask some questions. I know what I think is a plot summary, but i'd like to make sure.

Ori gets torn out of the spirit tree, is raised by Naru, the tree decays causing naru's death years later, and ori, after barely escaping and fainting, meets sein, the eyes of the tree, torn out by an owl guy (forgot the name), blinding the forest. They then set out to restore the three elements of the tree, which i don't remember (but they were basic like warmth and such), cause sein says so.

I feel like I know too much, but this does seem like a plot summary. Do I know any spoilers, and should I still get the game if I do?

Well there is more to it.
In fact there are some hidden story element and only a small part of the story is in the game.

First off, the owl is female, her name is Kuro. Second, no, that's not all of it. It seems pretty simple right up until you restore the Wind element. Then it starts to twist up on you pretty well. Buy and enjoy!
