For Keppler, "Your seed" actually only opens if you do a quest about a guy needing Typhus seed since his is blown out after the vamp visit if you bond with Thane. Your hair happens if you open the Ravenstag hair quest when going to the cafe on weekends. And secret if you had the hairpin and went into the teachers room, seeing Keppler's secret with Vilkova.
In Meyza's route there is strikethrough choice if you had the Fire Starter or not. This game was made more for replayability, so you will probably not get all options in a single playthrough.
Another example is some Hugging or talking options will not be open if your kindness is below 30, and honesty below 50 usually. These stats are all based on your choices and interactions with town. Hope that explain things, as far as I know at the moment I don't think there are striked out options that were caused from bugs/coding issue
Hope that helps!
Thanks for that, I appreciate it. I would suggest that another time (game), options that aren't available until the future (like the seed & hair) not be shown until they would have been available in the timeline - even if they were still stricken through because you had not taken the choices that opened them.
Currently it is very confusing to be shown an option of something that isn't possible to have opened yet at all. (Although I thought I had touched every available wall etc & hadn't come up with hearing Quill, so it's still possible to miss things!)
Thanks again.
Edit: Could you please provide a screenshot of the door I am supposed to investigate to hear Quill? I cannot find it in the living room either before or after meeting up with Quill; nor can I find it anywhere else after meeting up with Quill.
After reading your post about 50 times I finally read it properly & found the door... It was a little difficult getting the cursor on it rather than the downstairs arrow though.
