Only have fiefs of different culture, when you have a Clan Member with the "Natural Leader" - Perk.
Give 10 Loyalty to the fief, when governor has this perk.

Authority
- Gov - Town garrison is 20% more effective (for security).
- Party Leader - Increase Party size by +5

Heroic Leader
- Gov - +1 town loyalty per day
- Captain - Troops in your formation
cause 10% more morale penalty when they kill an enemy.

After capturing a city, how effective is the 20% security? I know the +1 loyalty is really good for newly captured towns. +5 party size is decent

managing loyalty/wages/food is no problem.

there are billion ways to have influence / impact on all this parts of fief-management.
if you dont like / understand the way it is in the game atm simple
give the fiefs to other lords...

edit: wait till the game is more finished / improved. it is in ea and maybe fief-management will get easier like the loyalty malus for culture difference.

Setting up a kingdom that doesnt have loyalty problems is the goal; complaining about how the AI deals with the mess the player has created is another thing altogether.

I delivered 60 cows to Varnovapol for Joey the Pesci, and now I'm getting dinged for minus 1.25 Loyalty for being a criminal governor.

people are stupid and they fall for brand loyalty

lotsa people buy games just cause they are new and hype play them for a few hours then forget

Just get mods because devs certainly have no idea what they are doing any more.
