Game crashes on startup

It shows the loading screen, then after about three seconds says "The Application faced a problem. We need to collect neccessary files to fix this problem. Would you like to upload them now"

For mods, I have OpenSourceArmory, Harmony, and Europe_LemmyProject BUT they are all disabled.

Same here, since 1.8.0 update. Tried deleting all mods and rechecking file integrity, no use.

Solved the issue for myself - problem was because of some leftover files from some previously used mods - in my case Bannerlord Online.
Solution - delete the bin directory from the game files, then verify integrity in Steam.

Are you trying to run a version earlier than 1.8.0? A quick google shows build 310948 as 1.7.1 but I'm too lazy to double-check. Log shows it crashing after trying to load language_data.xml which many users report causing a crash when they try to down-version. If you are trying play 1.7.x or earlier, delete all instances of language_data.xml and try again; if you are trying to play 1.8.0, delete them all anyways but then re-verify game files to acquire fresh copies in case something's wrong with them.

I'm trying to play 1.7.1 mainly, but I've also tried 1.7.2 and 1.8.0 and none of them work.
I'll try the language_data thing when i get home from school

Thanks a lot! Removing the languages fixed moving from 1.8.0 -> 1.7.1

Can you try removing all of your mods by performing a clean install following the instructions on the below article?
