Craft One-handed Axes for Gang Leader Bug

Whenever you create X amount of said weapon, after handing them in, you'll always have 2 left in your inventory. Tried and tested multiple times. Save game created at this point.

Okay, so I found another "Gang Leader Needs Weapons" quest, this time for 40 one-handed axes.

I have no weapons in my inventory at all.

I enter the smithy and craft 40 axes as requested.

I quick talk with the quest giver and hand over the axes.

I get paid 6380.

I check my inventory and I now have 2x "Crafted One Handed Axe".

Hard to say if they were mine or not as the settlement already had a ton of "Crafted One Handed Axe" for sale.

MAJOR UPDATE: Okay, so I think I'm onto something big...

I carry a "Steppe War Bow" and one "Stacked Bodkin Arrows" with me in my inventory (locked) to swap out with my "Vlandian Heavy Lance" and "Highland Throwing Axe" in sieges and hideouts. After completing the quest, neither the bow nor arrows are in my inventory anymore and have instead been replaced with the crafted axes. This has happened several times before - the bow and arrows have gone missing - except I've only ever realised this when I go to equip them and figured I must have discarded them at some point, but now that i have the save, I tested and boom!

So the question is why are my unequipped weapons being replaced upon completion of this quest? Its been costing me a fortune replacing them every time and what I thought was my error has actually been a major bug :D

They already have a few videos I made of this and my saves games also. Hasnt been fixed yet. Its been awhile, they probably havent figured out whats causing it.

Oh wow, really? Well spotted! Took me ages to figure out what was causing it. So this is either another quest I will have to ignore or I can't carry any weapons in my inventory when doing the quest. Sucks.

I'm sure I uploaded the save game on the 14th as requested at the time. I no longer have the save and have been forced to stop play M&B II following the Medeni Castle breaking my game. Loved the game while it lasted but the lack of support/help being provided by the devs recently has forced me to abandon the game until it is in a playable state :(

I've checked our logs on the 14th, and there aren't any save files uploaded that day. Can you make sure of the day you have sent the save file, or give me more info (file name, description you wrote before you sent it)?

The save was called "Weapons.sav" - made specifically for sending in. Its possible it didn't go through as I know sometimes the website fails to upload the first time. The issue is easy to re-create following the above steps. I can re-install and save again at the necessary point if its easier than doing it your end?

Actually, a fix for this quest has already been sent, but it may not have applied to older saves. Can you check this quest on a new campaign so we can see if it's still happening or it was isolated to your older save?

I dont see how it could have been applied when there hasnt been an update for almost 2 weeks. Plus you never updated my bug report topic on the same thing... You must be thinking of something else.

Also I was running the latest version. Clean save, new game.
