GPU Crash when loading into game

Been having this crash and I'm not able to get into the game after the character creation menu. I believe it might be related to specific maps however I'm not entirely certain. I've concluded this because if I go through character creation and select random story paths (attributes) I load in just fine but it's not the load out in allocated points I want to be in which is really frustrating.

EVGA 3080 12gb
32gb ram
Z690 Maximus Hero (v2802) -- I'm a few versions behind

My gpu driver is up to date with the latest version.
