Can't play the game
I used to play M&B 1 quite a bit, and bought M&BB when it came out but haven't really touched it since then. Wanted to give it another go, but I am having so many random technical problems.

When I start the game through steam, the launcher opens as expected, and then either crashes slowly without an error, or just instantly closes. (Yes, I did make sure it was allowed through my firewall). I can start the game if I go through my file explorer, but if I go through my file explorer, I can't save my game. (Yes I tried changing the save file from read-only, but it changes itself back even after pressing apply). I was able to solve this problem by launching through the file explorer launched as administrator.

Now that I can finally launch the game, each time I start the game I have to reconfigure my graphics settings and turn down the audio, which would not necessarily be a problem, except every single time I enter a town and leave the game just crashes. So I have to do it multiple times an hour.

Additional Information: Verified integrity of game files, deleted all data and reinstalled. It is a vanilla install with no mods

If anyone has a fix for the launching problem, I think it would solve a majority of my issues and sync with steam cloud saves, but I can't figure it out.

My PC specs:
Windows 11 64bit
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: AMD RX 6950XT
RAM: 32GB DDR5 @ 6000
Installed on an M.2

Also, I see you checked that your firewall was not blocking it. However did you ensure your antimalware settings were not blocking it?

If using Windows Defender, try this;

Click on Defender icon, bottom right.

Select Virus and Threat Protection.

At bottom click on Manage Ransomware protection.

If Controlled Folder Access is set to ON;

Click Allow and APP through Controlled Folder Access.

If you get a pop up asking if you want to allow this click yes.

There should now be a selectable box/area with a + sign.

Click on that, select Recently Blocked Apps.

A list will come up of all Apps the program has not allowed to run.

If you see one or both of the following;

TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe
Bannerlord.exe

Click the + sign next to them allowing them to run.

Restart your computer.

Can you please check if your Documents folder's directory is changed to OneDrive by default?

Thanks; this one does in fact allow the launcher to start the game. I'll update if I have any other problems.
