Constant crashing

I recently returned to bannerlord after about a yearly hiatus, and had a huge unpleasant surprise, namely, the game crashes after about an hour of gameplay or so, mostly in battles, but occasionaly also in menus. If relaunching the game, crashes become more frequent, usually after 1-2 battles after the save is loaded. Rebooting windows somewhat fixes the issue, giving me another hour.

I have updated vc redist, gpu drivers, .net, checked game integrity, deleted game folders from /Documents and /ProgramData, all of which did not help.

The data from the latest is crash is uploaded, reference number: 2023-04-29_17.28.30_73cc4f545c25eff840c7174d3808bb9b

System: Win11, i7-12700H, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti 16 GB - should be more than enough for Bannerlord, no?

If needed, I can upload a few more crashes.

You're lucky. I can't get past 5 minutes before the game crashes to desktop or reboots the PC, on a PC that exceeds recommended specs. 100+ games on Steam and this is one of the 3 or so that does this. I've submitted tickets for this many times over the years.

I miss early access 3 years ago as at one point the game didn't crash for at least a few months.

Same here, the game is unplayable. For me it's gpu errors, and now this patch has on top even some normal game crashes.

I try it every 2-3 months, all the "problem solvers" on google about people having similar issues aren't doing it for me. Guess i'll try again in 2024 just to see the same result

The game was working great on the same hardware in beta and then like a year into after the early access when they started to implement all those "fancy" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like dlss and so on the game started to be unplayable for me. I am crashing left and right with gpu errors.

Yes my graphic drivers are up2date, yes other games play fine. Yes i deleted the shader folder like a bazillion times and verified the file integrity via steam. Yes i played without mods. Yes I did the nvidia control panel settings changes, i even UNDERCLOCKED my gpu. The pagefile, the frame limiting, tried all screen modes, debugged like 10-20 hours in total all sort of settings.

Uploaded like 50+ dumps over the course of the last 18 months of this exact issue and still NO FIX IN SIGHT over like 10 different bannerlord patches

AND THE WORST THING OF IT ALL! THERE ARE STILL NO FEASTS! I WANT TO ENJOY MY BUTTER WITH THE VLANDIAN KING so i at least have some joy in those 5-20 minutes of gameplay i have until i can replay the last 3-5 minutes because of another crash (when i am lucky and it's not one of those were i have to reboot my pc afterwards)

The latest crash dump you've sent shows mods installed. Can you try performing a clean install following the instructions on the below article?

Cleared modules folder as per linked guide, verfied files via Steam, still got the same crash, dump: 2023-05-17_16.25.14_73cc4f545c25eff840c7174d3808bb9b

Also, the only mod apart from five listed in the linked article is TW Birth and Death options, which is disabled in the launcher, here is a screenshot: https://ibb.co/ggQqcJX

I have the exact same problem. It crashes randomly, but especially with battles when they get a little bit big, my PC specs are almost the same as yours Ziame.

The last time it crashed i got this error code: 2023-07-03_20.54.20_9a261ae735088327d4a91a5cce4fe248

I have tried the following things to solve the crash problem, but to no avail..
1. Check the game file integrity;
2. updated windows (i have win 10);
3. reinstalled the game;
4. got rid of all the mods;
5. my GPU driver installation is up to date;
6. closed all background apps;
7. played the game on the lowest settings (which really should not be the problem with a pc like mine);
8. i have tried multiple beta's up to 1.7.0;
9. excluded it from anti virus.

It is my favorite game to play but since the last 4-5 months it is unplayable. i really hope this gets fixed soon?
Maybe you can pass it on Elysebluemoon_TW?

set the screen refresh to 59 hertz in the game and in the nvidia control panel

This game is much worse in regards to bugs and crashing than I remember it. Not sure how it got worse over time but some how they managed to do it.
