there are other good horses like "Cossian". if you have big luck you can get it with merriage a vlandian noble (or arena).
and you can buy a good / fast noble horse from aserai.
It sounds like Wadar Hotblood is only available in tournament. Is that the best speed horse?
Thanks, Azunai.
I guess I have to farm the horse in tournament.
For the purpose of the tournament, renowned fighting skill means characters with one or two handed weapons skill of 100 or more. If you have some companions or family members with those skills high enough, they will count toward that number (sadly player character does not count).
Interestingly enough, when there are too many renowned lords, you may have harder time getting a horse, as there are so many other good rewards that may be offered instead. So try to look for the tournaments with 3-6 lords and you should get horses somewhat frequently.
Wadar Hot Blood is the fastest horse in the game, but don't overlook Asaligat. That horse is just tad slower, but is the most agile horse in the game. With some points in riding, your horse will be way faster than any other one, but being able to turn on a dime is very nice.
simple press "watch tournament" and then "skipp all fights" and dont fight yourself.
thats 2 clicks to get every price in arena 100%.
i always marry Siega and Corain for me and my brother. tournaments are a free win.
you dont use mods?
with "patience" you mean 50+ game-years to play?
i have never seen a tier 6 horse in loot
Usually, when you get married to Aserai wife, she may come with 2 Wadar Hot Bloods. Also children of Aserai culture, will enter adulthood with 2 of them. I would say most of Aserai lords ride them.
I suppose if you have battlefield character death enabled and a perk to recover horses from dead cavalry, you may recover Wadar Hot Bloods after a battle where such character dies (in your or opposing party).
With a charge from the flank you could move down a line of archers like hot knife through butter. High charge damage, and well armored horse can do a whole lot of damage.
