Ship upgrades gone?

So it seems that after 1.05 the upgrades are largely gone.

I used to be able to find upgrades for my Dromons at the Nord and Sturgian towns. But now, I've been to every single Nord town, and half the Sturgian towns, and now I've gone through all the Vlandian towns, and I still haven't found a ton of the parts I normally use.

On my last Dromons I outfitted, I was able to fully outfit them at Thronderlag, but now that port literally has not a single upgrade available for the Dromon.

Do you own any of the towns in question? The ship upgrades are linked to building level of the shipyard. In my playthrough I can max out the Longships at Hvalvik and gretysfjord but not at other towns because they haven't got a lvl3 shipbuilder

lv3 port give lv3 upgrade

i believe every start of new campaign the port level at different city are at different level

aserai lv3 port give good ram

lv3 nord port give good oars with travel spd

lv3 empire port(the one south of omor give sail with travel speed buff if i remember correctly)

I've never once been able to find the majority of the upgrades I want for my dromons. I've had to sail to Aserai lands for the rams, the cargo nets and the hull sheathings I want

Upgrades are faction based and port level.

dalmathia from imperium have a port for level up dromon and most all other ships to the gold upgrade..,

you can make all slots from the dromon level up to gold..
fire ballista,
firestone ballista,
steel ball projectile,
both kasern troop upgrades,
side shields or fire bottles for your team,
very more and so mutch..,

All the nord cities except the inland one are level 3 ports.

And when war sails first released, thronderlag had all the gold/top tier upgrades I wanted for my Dromon except the sails, which were offered by the western empire city that the MQL lady is in (forgot the name of the city).

Now, no nord city has any dromon upgrades (zero upgrades that are gold of any category).
